We are always open to curious people

Join the Crew

We do not wait for a job ad to meet good people. If you are excited about RNA, sequencing and the computation that makes sense of it, we would like to hear from you, whether or not a position is posted right now.

Ways to join us

PhD students

Come and do your doctorate with us. We take students from biology, computer science, mathematics and physics backgrounds, and we help you find a project that fits both your strengths and our science.

Postdocs

If you have a PhD and want to work at the interface of RNA biology, sequencing and computation, get in touch. We are happy to build a fellowship application with a strong candidate.

Interns & visiting researchers

Short research placements, honours and masters projects, and visits from collaborating labs are all welcome. Tell us what you want to learn and when you are free.

What we offer

Work across the wet and dry lab

We combine molecular biology, sequencing, AI and mathematics. You can lean toward the bench, toward the code, or learn to move between the two.

Close mentoring

A small group where you work directly with the people who build the methods, not at the end of a long chain.

A real collaboration network

Joint projects across institutions and countries, with the chance to present your work and spend time in partner labs.

Tools that ship

Our software and methods are used by other labs. Your work can become something people actually run on their own data.

How to reach us

Send a short note about what you are interested in, your CV, and (for PhD or postdoc enquiries) the names of two references. Tell us roughly when you would like to start. We read every message.
