About
Danielle Rudler completed her PhD in 2022 at the University of Western Australia (UWA), based at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Her thesis investigated the regulation and fidelity of nuclear and mitochondrial translation in mammals. Her postdoctoral research expanded this scope to inter-organelle metabolism and mitochondrial gene expression, including the development of multi-omic bioinformatic pipelines. She was awarded a Zac Pearson Legacy Fellowship (2024-2025) at the Kids Research Institute (formerly Telethon Kids) to apply these analyses to patients with metabolic disease. She now holds a position at UWA within the Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer (ACRTC) in the Shirokikh lab, where she investigates RNA regulation and stability across cellular compartments and evolution.
